Importing library(.jar) into local maven repository

in command line:
mvn install:install-file -DgroupId=be.mygroup -DartifactId=library -Dpackaging=jar -Dversion=1.2.2 -Dfile=library.jar

You have to install the jar files in your local:

for example:
mvn install:install-file -DgroupId=icefaces -DartifactId=icefaces -Dversion=1.7 -Dpackaging=jar -Dfile=c:\icefaces.jar

Then write this in your pom.xml

  <dependencies>
    <dependency>
      <groupId>icefaces</groupId>
      <artifactId>icefaces</artifactId>
      <version>1.7</version>
      <type>jar</type>
      <scope>provided</scope>
    </dependency>
    ...
  </dependencies>

For the detail of pom.xml, please refer to maven document.
